The Lyme Disease Association will hold its 14th annual scientific conference, Lyme and Other Tick-Borne Diseases: Science, Research and Myth on Saturday, June 1st and Sunday, June 2nd, 2013 at the University of Minnesota in St. Paul, MN.

As a member of the LDA Affiliate Network, and as a Lyme-literate psychotherapist who understands the importance of scientific research to find a cure, I encourage everyone who is interested in learning about the latest research and complex issues involved with tick-borne diseases to attend this excellent conference.

On Tuesday, May 14, 2013, the Ridgefield Lyme Disease Task Force will be holding a Lyme Disease Seminar & Health Fair, free and open to the public, at Western Connecticut State University’s Westside Campus in Danbury, CT. As an advisor to the Ridgefield Task Force and a member of the Program Committee for this excellent seminar, I encourage everyone to join me. Please stop by at my table, “Literature on Lyme Disease in Children and Adolescents” and say hi.

I will be speaking on the topic of “Boundaries and Personal Empowerment” at the September 2012 meeting of the Ridgefield, CT Support Group for Lyme disease, Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia. The support group is sponsored by the Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) and the Ridgefield Lyme Disease Task Force. All are welcome to attend.
